Lifestyle Project Week One
As we have talked about in class an important part of sustainability is being conscience. Being conscience of your actions as well as understanding the direct results of your actions. That's why not an hour into my first day of the lifestyle project I realized that my first day of the project was in actuality a trial run. In the morning when I groggily roll out of bed the last thing I am thinking about is my impact on the natural world. This lack of consciousness is generally what leads to my greatest use of water. In the morning I'm used to leaving the tap running till it's not freezing, because hot water wakes me up. Also if I'm really tired I tend to take longer showers. Adding to my waste of water is leaving the tap running while I'm brushing my teeth. So the main thing I learned this week is that I might not be as conscience of my actions than I previously thought.
